Mahatma Education Society’s Vidyadhiraja College of Physical Education and Research, New Panvel and Astitva Life Saving India, Pune jointly organized a Pool Life Saving and First Aid Certification Course from 10th to 11th December, 2016 at Mahatma Campus Swimming Pool at Khanda Colony. Sports enthusiasts and Physical Education trainees, swimming instructors from Pillai Group of Institutions and from various part of Mumbai and Pune attended the training session. A total of 3 types of training conducted namely Life Saving and First Aid Course, General First Aid for sports injuries and In date of Life Saving Certification Course also conducted. Itus Life Saving and Rescue Company Director Mrs. Pooja, Indian Rescue Academy Founder Mr. Vinay, Itus Company Training Head Mr. Anoop Mirajkar, VCPER Principal Dr. Nusrat Shaikh and Director of Sports, MES Mr. Padmakshan Padmanahan conducted the training program.
